So it has been a busy couple of months. I've passed my kendo examination and now hold the shodan rank. Michi and I have gone on a few trips, and I was hospitalized briefly for an unknown illness. Here are some pictures fron our trips.
Grass on a mountain top in Kamakura
A praying mantis with some parasite coming out of its guts
The boat we rode on at Geibi Gorge around New Years
A barrel for one of the steps in making sake
Michi and the sunrise on Dec. 31st at Jodogahama
The statue outside Ryusendo, a huge limestone cave system with underground rivers and lakes
The path to Choson Temple in Hiraizumi
